The Moa is dirty cheap and surprisingly powerful. If you're new to this type of flying you can't go wrong with the Moa. It will allow you to take on 2-1 or even worse odds and win.
Your ideal targets are Destroyers, Cruisers and Frigates in that order. You may have trouble with tracking frigates if they are good, so be careful of that.
The tank on this Moa is more powerful than many of the Battlecruisers in this guide, but only temporarily! It is VERY important that you pulse your X-Large ASB, overload it, and NOT waste it.
You're virtually unkillable by a small 2-4 man fleet for 30-60 seconds (depending on incoming DPS) but after that you will die really fast. So do not waste your ASB!
This is a good ship for a impromptu 1vs1 and a great ship for ganking a few enemies on a station undock. Your tank will be very unexpected.
If you are expecting a mostly Frigate fleet, then dock up and switch your scram for a Stasis Webifier. You will not have a point to keep them from warping but you will have the ability to kill them so fast it won't matter. Load Caldari Navy Antimatter, Web, Engage Drones, and Massacre 4-10 Frigates before your tank runs out.

Next up is a "Trick Fit" that I really like because it's perfect from drawing in small Frigate Gangs and then completely demolishing them all. I have used this several times very successfully and suggest you try it also.
It will work anywhere you can find frigates to kill, but I've had the most luck finding frigate gangs around Faction Warfare Space. Typically I will just sit in a Large or go system to system checking for Frigates in Mediums.

Hi,
Since there are no implants listed here (crystals, naturally) I changed the Gank and Tank moa by removing the power diagnostic and plugging in a genolution set or CA-1 and 1% pg implant. This gives you enough cpu and an extra slot to fit a DC II or a 3rd mag stab, either giving you a good deal extra EHP or about 50 extra DPS. Either way, seems like a good trade to me (assuming no crystals).
Awesome, more DPS and EHP are always good. But keep in mind Mid-Grade Crystals are relatively cheap if your not PVPing in Null Sec.

In a medium FW complex
Didn’t have any crystals or boosters in this clone or anything. I almost lost the hawk when the pilgrim neuted me out. I couldn’t use my guns or point for a few seconds. but my 1 remaining warrior II got the last hit.
The hawk is a pretty tanky target so I was hesitant to engage, but it payed off alright.
AWESOME! That’s a great trade and looks like a fun fight.
That Hawk was very tanky, but your DPS output is enough to stress his tank and deplete his ASB charges pretty quick.

There is probably a great fit for the Eagle, but I’ve never flown it. I will look into it now.
I was looking at EFT on the eagle, eagle has more CPU and PG since that i made 2 fits in EFT.
Simliar to MOA Gank and Tank Fit.

I think both fits are good, use a Faint Epsilon Scram instead of the J5b (might as well get the small range and cap improvement).
Biggest concern is that you will run out of charges and have no tank left. So you have to be very careful which fights you choose.

You can perma tank around 800DPS with one ASB and if need for a short burst do over 2000 tank with all three running and overloaded. The “oh crap” mode of running all three is a nice way to deaggro and escape.
