Crime Watch – Kill Rights Guide

9

In this guide I will explain the new kill rights system and how it has changed, there are many new exciting changes in the kill rights system. I will explain the new changes as in depth as I can, so keep reading and hopefully I can make it easy to understand. Kill rights over all have not really changed, the way you get kill rights and the time limits on kill rights are still the same.

The only way a player will now get kill rights on you is if you destroy their ship in high security space and they were not a legal target to you or you destroy a players pod in low security space. Basically it has to be a criminal act, not just a suspect type act. The old kill rights system would allow a player that you had destroyed a ship or pod to have a legal right to attack you in any level of security.

The new kill rights system still allows the player that has kill rights on another player to legally attack them in any security level space. But there are many new features to what you can do with these kill rights, now you can share the kill rights around with other people. I know you are interested now and I am sure most of you have heard or read something regarding these changes.

I hope to make it all clearer in this article, basically you can now control your kill rights much more to benefit or just punish the pilot that you have kill rights on. You can make the kill rights available to all Eve players; you can sell the kill rights for …Read More…

Taking ISK: The 2 or 50 Bill Kill

7

I normally don’t post my kills here or even mention them but I thought this one was worth a post and this just goes to show it’s just as easy to Take ISK as it is to Make ISK. Easier when you’re lucky!

Check out the Total loss: 50 Billion ISK

And he dropped almost 1 Billion ISK that is now safely in my station hanger in Gonditsa.

Getting Rich Pirating in EVE Online

Update: CCP has changed killmails so they show the difference between blueprint originals and copies. But when this guy convo’d me he said it was only 10 billion ISK of BPO’s, so I’m not too sure what the real value was here. Both BC and my corps killboard show 50 Billion ISK. BC doesn’t show which are copies and which aren’t while my corp killboard does.

The New Incursus and Merlin > The New Rifter?

10

The new Inferno expansion brought with it new Changes to Tech 1 Frigates that have quietly shaken up the old standard of Frigate Combat…

For years there was one Tech 1 Frigate that was just better than all the rest. Everyone knew it, and everyone loved it. That was the Rifter, the speed, size, firepower, and slot layout made it the most flexible and best of the bunch. Not by a huge margin but by enough.

That’s not to say the other races Frigates weren’t capable, just that the Rifter way more capable.

Inferno has changed that, and unlike past history, CCP didn’t Nerf the Rifter down so it was more comparable (Like they usually do ex: Dramiel). They boosted all the others up to it’s level. (and beyond)

If you look at the new changes, the Rifter received very little beyond a very slight boost to speed, agility, and hit points. It’s a better ship than it was, but just barely.

The Merlin and Incursus however now sport stats that almost rival Assault Ships!

As a Frigate specialist this change is SUPER EXCITING because these are dirt cheap ships.  Almost any player in EVE can afford to fly these and the stats now mean that your selection of “Possible Targets” has grown tremendously.

Before we go any further let’s look at the Rifter for comparison:

This fit has won me ALOT of fights against a large variety of targets. The Speed and Agility are the primary advantage, but the balance of having some reasonable hit points, a small passive shield recharge, and moderate DPS output make it a very flexible ship.

The setup shown is with the new stats, and compared to the new Merlin and Incursus, it’s just not …Read More…

Announcing The Wolf PRO Guide

3

I am very proud to announce the the Launch Date of my newest PVP Guide, The Wolf PRO Guide. Set to launch at 12:01am US EST Monday June 4th!

This guide marks the beginning of a new line of PVP Guides I will be creating. These guides will focus on each ship and fully explore that one ships capability and style of PVP.

By doing this, I can ensure the best quality and set it up so that anyone wishing to master a specific ship can do so by simply getting the Guide for that ship!

But enough about that… You want to hear more about the Wolf PRO Guide right?

First I must insist you watch this Preview video (cause it’s pretty cool):

Watch Full Screen at 720p For Best Quality!

So what exactly is in The Wolf PRO Guide?

First  you get the Fittings for the best setups that will give you the edge, next you get a video guide that teaches you all about those fits, and how to make the most of them. Including tips that will allow you to “bump” up the stats to give you an even bigger edge.

Next we cover tactics… Which ships to fight, which ships to avoid, how to engage each and every one of your primary targets to virtually guarantee victory, and some really cool tricks that help you when things go bad.

Along with the Tactics Video guide you will get a “Cheat Sheet” this is my secret that I’ve been using for years to master new ships and help ensure I execute right every time. It tells you what to fight, and exactly what tactics you need to use to win. It’s almost cheating because you’re using the best tactics in every fight!

Finally there is the Educational Fights Videos which are Narrated Tutorials where I break down real fights and tell you every detail about what I’m doing, how I’m doing it, and why I’m doing it. This allows you to learn much faster because you can apply these same lessons to your fights!

The Wolf PRO Guide will be released at 12:01am US EST on Monday June 4th (that’s like 5am in UK and mid afternoon in OZ I think). Check back here then for more details!

Quick Directional Scanning Example

2

Face it, you can’t PVP if you can’t find targets…

Which is why I’ve been focusing on Scanning Videos more recently. However in the past videos, some of my example footage wasn’t as clear and easy to understand as I wanted it to be, so I wanted to do another quick example for you to make sure you got it.

In this video I show you how I scan out a Drake and Maelstrom in a Anomaly at high speed and warp in on them. You will learn how you can do this quickly as well. (I highly recommend my other scanning videos too, just search for “scanning”)

Remember to watch full screen at 720p
